But, I couldnвЂ™t say whether or not heвЂ™s my most exciting. I had tried it on a few civilians first to be ready for Jimi. We were the groupies that got to the hotel first and we were the only groupies in Jimi HendrixвЂ™s room. He was my first real rock star that dipped his dick and it was unbelievable. Cynthia, вЂњJimi Hendrix was coming to town. Jimi Hendrix being her most infamous cast and one of her first, done in February 1968. вЂSomething solidвЂ™ he said, вЂas in hard.вЂ™ IвЂ™d heard through the grapevine that penises got solid although I had yet to see that happen.вЂќ I discovered that way when I was an art major in college when my art teacher told me to make a plaster cast as my homework assignment of something that could retain itвЂ™s shape. Even after all these years, Cynthia says Hendrix was her favorite musician to cast. Much to her surprise, Hendrix agreed and became the first rock star to sit for Cynthia Plaster Caster. After practicing her casting techniques - a simple process that involved dipping oneвЂ™s вЂњsolid somethingвЂќ into a martini shaker filled with dental-mold gel - on two of her friends, she was finally ready. Albritton achieved celebrity status for her work: She created molds of some of the worldвЂ™s biggest stars, including Jimi. The Chicago-born artist died Thursday at 74. Word spread in the rock community about the groupie and her unusual art venture, and soon she had a taker. Though she never got to cast Paul Revere or any of the Raiders, she managed to make the impression sheвЂ™d been hoping for. At the after-party, she marched right up to the lead singer and guitarist, and, as she put it, asked if she could вЂњcast their solid somethings.вЂќ The night after sheвЂ™d been given her assignment, she attended a Paul Revere and the Raiders concert.

Wanting to do something different than all of her peers, she turned to her love of rock music for inspiration.
